Job Description
Giovatto Agency is seeking a Video Editor with videography experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the entire production and post-production process. You will be collaborating with editors, producers, creative directors, and graphic/digital artists.
Responsibilities include:
- Editing video for broadcast, streaming, and social platforms using Adobe products on a PC workstation
- Sound design and audio mixing for video and radio
- Working with graphics and special effects for logo animation, text animation, and motion graphic design
- Setting up and breaking down equipment during shoots, operating cameras, lighting, and audio
- Maintaining and organizing video/audio equipment, in-house studio, department server, and storage
- Uploading and organizing media for review
- Following scripts and direction from team, while using creativity for project completion
Requirements
- 2+ years of video editing experience in a professional environment
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with videography
- Experience with motion graphics, including text and logo animation
- Sound mixing and audio editing experience
- Solid proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Audition
Bonus
- Working knowledge of other Adobe programs related to video production, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Character Animator
- Experience with Canon and/or Blackmagic cameras
- Experience with photography and DSLR cameras
