Job Description

Soelect Inc is seeking a Web Designer for their Office Department. This is a part-time position, up to 20 hours per week, with a duration of a couple of months depending on the project. The work will be on-site from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8:25am to 5:10pm. The office is located in Greensboro, NC. The work environment is safe, clean, and dust-free. The compensation for this position is up to $25 per hour based on experience.

Requirements

• WordPress development experience is required.
• Experience with design software (e.g., Photoshop).
• Understanding of UX/UI (user experience/user interface) design.
• Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization).
• Good visual design sense.
• Experience in responding well to clients’ design requests.
• Creating a suitable color scheme or incorporating the client’s color scheme into the design.
• Coding the site’s navigation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Designing buttons and other controls for the site.
• Creating mock-ups of the site for the client’s approval.
• Fixing any functionality issues, including the removal of “dead links”.
• Updating and maintaining the site.
• Making backup files of the site.
