Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Interior Designer with expertise in AutoCAD to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, with a focus on creating detailed and accurate AutoCAD drawings, including interior elevations. This individual will play a key role in bringing design concepts to life through precise technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

1. AutoCAD Expertise:

• Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed interior drawings, floor plans, and interior elevations.
• Ensure accuracy, scale, and completeness of all drawings, adhering to industry standards and project specifications.

1. Interior Design Development:

• Collaborate with the design team to translate conceptual ideas into technical drawings.
• Develop and refine design concepts, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals.

1. Technical Documentation:

• Produce comprehensive sets of construction documents, including detailed interior plans and elevations.
• Provide accurate dimensions, annotations, and specifications to facilitate construction and implementation.

1. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to integrate interior design elements seamlessly into overall project plans.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into design solutions.

1. Material and Finish Selection:

• Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the overall design concept and meet project requirements.

• Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to identify and rectify any errors or discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in interior design with a focus on AutoCAD drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with a demonstrated ability to create accurate and detailed drawings.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects and AutoCAD drawings.
