Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a freelance illustrator to join our team. We are a small video production company in central Manchester, working across various sectors. We are looking for an illustrator who is proficient in After Effects and has a passion for both illustration and film. The illustrator will collaborate with our creative team, creating original illustrations and artwork for various projects.

Responsibilities

• Create original illustrations and artwork for print media, digital platforms, and web design
• Collaborate with clients and creative teams to understand project requirements
• Use software like Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe After Effects, and CAD to create digital designs and animations
• Utilize traditional art techniques such as painting and sketching
• Ensure that all illustrations are visually appealing, on-brand, and aligned with project objectives
• Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in illustration and design

Requirements

• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong artistic abilities with a keen eye for detail and composition
• Experience in digital design and illustration techniques
• Knowledge of web design principles and best practices
• Familiarity with animation software like Adobe After Effects
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team
• Excellent communication skills

• Salary: From £37,100.00 per year
