Job Description

Ready Artwork Agency is seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design and a deep understanding of marketing tactics. You will play a crucial role in visually shaping the digital marketing strategies we create for our clients, ensuring they are not only appealing but also highly functional, user-friendly, and measurable. Projects that you will be working on include but are not limited to: website design, email marketing, and digital advertising.

Responsibilities

1. User-Centered Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and user requirements. Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing. Translate user insights into design solutions that prioritize user needs and business objectives.
2. User Interface Design: Create visually appealing and engaging user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and project objectives. Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Design consistent and intuitive user interface elements.
3. User Experience Design: Develop user journeys, user flows, and information architectures. Collaborate with developers to ensure successful implementation while maintaining a user-centered approach.
4. Visual Design: Choose appropriate color palettes, typography, and imagery. Ensure design consistency across various platforms.
5. Design Iteration and Optimization: Gather feedback and iterate on design concepts based on critiques and user testing results. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
6. Project Management: Manage multiple clients and design projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and deadlines. Communicate design concepts effectively to internal teams and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, human-computer interaction, interaction design, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer
• Working knowledge of design principles
• Graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
• UI/UX design tools such as XD, Figma, and InVision
• Experience with Shopify, Shopify Plus, WordPress, and/or Woocommerce
• Strong perspective in the business of design and marketing
• Great work ethic and positive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize tasks and goals independently
• Agency background is a plus

• Job Types: Part-time, Contract
• Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
• Experience level: 3 years
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
