Job Description:

We are looking for a part-time photographer/videographer for independent musician Jimmy Chen for social media content. This is a long term project that can last more than 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and execute creative ideas for engaging photoshoots and videos tailored for social media.
• Capture captivating moments during live performances, ensuring a seamless blend of artistic expression and musical energy.
• Commit to a continuous collaboration, with an expected workload of 10 hours per week, primarily from Friday to Sunday.
• Willingness to travel to NYC for specific projects.
• Manage and organize video files, assets, and project timelines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in videos and photos.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of video production principles, including composition, lighting, sound design, and color grading.
• Familiarity with photography techniques and equipment.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey creative ideas and feedback.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or other professional video editing software a plus.
• Knowledge of motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects is a plus.

This position requires a high level of creativity, technical expertise, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through videography and photography. Please include a link to your portfolio.

• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 10 per week
• Benefits: Flexible schedule
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed
