Job Description:

We are looking for a methodical individual who possesses exceptional communication, computer, and project management skills to join our web development team as a Freelance Back-end Web Developer. As a Freelance Back-end Web Developer, you will be responsible for writing WordPress web services and APIs, while managing technical aspects of the content management system (CMS).

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
  • Providing WordPress development support to clients.
  • Optimizing for page speed and search ranking.
  • Troubleshooting issues with online advertising accounts.
  • Protecting against cybersecurity threats.
  • Staying updated on the latest website and WordPress development trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Good understanding of SEO principles.
  • Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
  • Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
