Job Description

Anachronaut Productions is seeking freelance 2D clean up animators for an upcoming short film. The animators should be comfortable cleaning up 2D FX or 2D character animation. This is a contracted short-term position that requires working on a team of other clean up animators. The role is entry-level, and all applicants are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Commit to deliverables and manage goals within deadlines
• Present work to a team and incorporate feedback
• Clean up a wide range of 2D FX or complex character designs
• Work in frame by frame animation
• Work within the style of the film

Requirements

• Toonboom Harmony Advanced or Premium
• Solid drawing skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Showreel or portfolio showcasing 2D character clean up or 2D FX clean up skills
• Knowledge of how to use and edit the peg system in Toonboom Harmony
• Bonus: Previous experience in fix animation

Additional Information

• Some applicants may be required to take a clean up animation test
• Remote work, with flexible schedule and submission dates

Compensation

Salaries are based on the number of shots taken per month, ranging from $500 USD to $1400 USD for 2D FX.
