We are the team behind www.greix.de, a dynamic website specializing in data visualization and urban data analysis. We’re seeking a skilled web agency or freelancer to take on the management and improvement of our website.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Visualization Enhancement: Manage and improve our existing graphs and maps, ensuring data is presented in an engaging and user-friendly manner.
2. Content Management System (CMS) Optimization: Our website currently operates on a CMS, which needs regular management and enhancements for better performance and functionality.
3. Data Expansion: Regularly add new cities to our database, ensuring the information is accurate and up-to-date.
4. Upload Tool Management: Oversee and refine our data upload tool for efficiency and ease of use.
5. API Integration and Download Section Improvement: Implement an API for better data interaction and revamp our download section to make it more accessible to the public.
6. Server Management: Manage our hosting server, including transitioning to a European server for improved performance and compliance.
7. Analytics Tool Implementation: Integrate a new analytics tool that complies with European law (e.g., Matomo), to monitor website traffic and user engagement.
8. Routine Website Checks: Conduct regular checks to ensure the website’s optimal performance at all times.
9. High Traffic Management: Provide closer monitoring and support during peak periods, especially when new data is published, to prevent any downtime.

Requirements

• Proven experience in web development and management, particularly with data-intensive websites.
• Expertise in data visualization tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of CMS, API integration, and server management.
• Ability to handle high-traffic website scenarios and ensure uptime during critical periods.
