Job Description

The Part-time Designer is responsible for managing and maintaining customer projects, designing and presenting customized plans, closing sales efficiently, and maintaining clear communication with managers and support center partners. They also act as a brand ambassador, driving and supporting company initiatives, and maintaining the showroom and visual presentation of the store.

Requirements

• College degree preferred
• 2-5 years sales and clientele experience preferred
• Maintains professional appearance and wears required dress code
• Knowledge and passion for custom spaces and retail industry trends
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM tools
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
• Flexible, positive attitude and passion for learning
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Focused attention to detail, able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
• Makes strategic and effective decisions in the best interest of customers and the company
• Ability to work within and exemplify The Container Store brand
• Must be at least 18 years of age
