Job Description:
Pueblo Community College’s Pueblo Corporate College specializes in workforce training programs including customized Corporate Training to meet organizations’ specific needs, Professional Development geared toward the individual who looks to increase his or her skills or maintain a credential, and Lifelong Learning to provide community members with personal enrichment opportunities. With highly skilled instructors with real world experience, state-of-the-art training facilities, a focus on hands-on training, and a strong network of resources, PCC is a one-stop resource to meet all workforce training needs across Colorado.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging and interactive instructional materials for classroom and online learning environments.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance of instructional materials.
- Utilize instructional design principles to create effective learning experiences.
- Use Adobe Creative Suite or other design software to create visually appealing and engaging learning materials.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality instructional materials.
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to instructional materials.
- Write clear and concise instructional content, including scripts, storyboards, and assessments.
- Proofread and edit instructional materials for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
- Apply principles of adult education to create learner-centered instructional materials.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in developing for Desire2Learn (D2L) Learning Management System.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs for adult learners.
- Ability to write clear and concise instructional content that is easy to understand.
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
Other Information:
- Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
- Pay: $30.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
