Job Description

We are seeking experienced Full Stack Senior Blaze Software Developers in the banking industry for a 1-year fixed-term contract. The technology stack required for this role includes Java Version 7.x & dia3 (must have), Azure, Maven, Rules Inventory, Rules Service Design, Business Rules Engine, RMA, Java Web Services, FICO Blaze, Rules Harvesting, FICO Blaze Advisor Rule Maintenance Application, Git, and Writing Automated Tests (Junit, Springboot, Mavern).

The critical tasks and projects for this role include developing and implementing FICO Blaze rules, integrating FICO Blaze with other systems, and working closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to design and implement complex business rules. The successful candidate will be part of a highly collaborative team that values continuous improvement and open communication.

Requirements

• Technical related Degree: Computer Science or above equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of Blaze experience
• Experience in rules engine-based applications in Java platforms
• Experience in Java based FICO Blaze Advisor versions 7.x
• Experience in Rules Harvesting, Rules Inventory management Strategies, and Rules Services Design
• Highly flexible technical expert with ability to master and work with a wide variety of technologies
• Skills to develop an application using Full stack technology and deliver effectively, efficiently, on time, in-specification, and in a cost-effective manner
• Experience in FICO Blaze Advisor BRE (Business Rule Engine) development
• Experience in FICO Blaze Advisor Rule Maintenance Application (RMA) setup, administration, and development
• Experience in exposing BRE rules to Java Web Services
• Technical knowledge of FICO Blaze Advisor versions 7.x & dia3 (must have)
• Experience with Git (must have)
• Ability to develop in Java
• Experience in writing automated tests and familiarity with Junit
• Experience using Springboot and Maven

Other Information

Existing knowledge in the banking industry and experience with regulatory rules (e.g. FICA, FATCA) will be a plus. Experience being part of an Enterprise Rules Team is highly desirable.
