Job Description:

As a Social Media Assistant, your main responsibility will be managing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engage with our target audience. Your specific duties will include:

• Scheduling content on various social media platforms
• Organizing dates, titles, usernames, platforms, links, and descriptions on calendars or content scheduling/organizing apps
• Providing daily updates on different platforms, including video content for subscription platforms/pay-per-view platforms
• Reviewing company’s social media platforms daily
• Engaging with posts, preferably scheduled in advance
• Responding to comments on the company’s social media platforms, such as Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
• Editing or supervising editing orders, controlling and tracking all post-production activities (photoshopping, trailer cutting, master video editing, cataloging, scheduling, etc.)
• Editing photo content, including color correction, spot treatment, light balancing, cropping/resizing/reformatting, and watermarking
• Creating 2-3 videos per week, including a 1-minute trailer version, a full version edited 15-30 minutes, and a DVD/movie version of 45 minutes including intros and behind the scenes footage
• Communicating regularly with photographers, videographers, and other vendors regarding specific needs and delivery of content
• Editing content for YouTube and social media promotion
• Organizing hard drives, masters, paperwork, iCloud, backups, FTP client manager, and tracking deliveries/deliverables to other parties
• Having discreet and professional communication with artists and collaborators
• Creating and promoting marketing campaigns from start to finish, including creating, posting, and tracking analytics
• Keeping up with technology upgrades and researching new widgets, gadgets, apps, and services

Requirements:

• Proficient in proofreading to ensure accurate and error-free content
• Strong knowledge of social media marketing principles and strategies
• Experience using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Meta, and Linktree
• Familiarity with SEO techniques to optimize content for search engines
• Understanding of public relations principles to maintain a positive brand image
• Excellent social media management skills, including scheduling, posting, and engaging with followers

Other Information:

• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
• Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
