Job Description:

The University of Chester’s Informatics Centre is seeking applications for the role of Senior User Interaction Designer with a focus on Frontend Development to join our vibrant team. The Informatics Centre specialises in bespoke web application development for both internal and external clients. As a Senior User Interaction Designer, you will undertake UI/UX development work for internal and external stakeholders. You will use UI design software such as Figma and Sketch, and contribute to the frontend development of projects using technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks like Angular.

Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a user experience or design role.

Other Information:

This role is 0.4 FTE (part-time) with flexible working hours and location. Some duties may require on-site working at Exton Park, Chester from time to time, particularly during the Experiential Learning module.
