Job Description
Social Awaken, a leading social media agency in the UK & UAE, is expanding into the Canadian market and seeking a freelance videographer & editor to join their team. The role involves creating and editing tiktok/reels, high-end promo/event videos, and social media videos, with drone experience preferred. Responsibilities include organising and scheduling video shoots, creating visual assets, pre-production for shoots, managing camera inventory and equipment, organising and storing assets, collaborating with the social media management and design team on stylized shoots, editing video assets, and working on podcast visual/audio.
Requirements
- Fluency in premier pro, After Effects, and general video editing software
- Fluency in shooting videos/film with a camera
- Understanding of colour grading
- Experience in shooting long-form content such as interviews/podcasts
- Attention to detail
- Ability to organise and schedule own work and work independently
- Able to travel
Other Information
Job Type: Freelance
Salary: $20.00-$50.00 per hour
Benefits: Work from home
Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
Experience: 3 years of video editing and videography
Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
