Job Description:

Yorktel is seeking a Broadcast Graphic Artist who will assist a client in designing complex graphics for agency videos and public service announcements. They will also assist in the development of scripts and storyboards for public and agency videos.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Create highly-engaging complex motion graphics for various media platforms
• Create videos and backgrounds for video production
• Create images depicting objects in motion or illustrating a process using animation programs
• Manipulate light, color, texture, shadow, and transparency to make objects or characters appear life-like
• Apply story development, directing, cinematography, and editing to create storyboards
• Script, plan, and create animated narrative sequences under tight deadlines
• Assist with various multi-media design projects
• Maintain knowledge of current video editing and animation software
• Maintain a professional approach and demeanor at all times

Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of various video and graphic formats and ability to convert them
• Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Vyond (a plus)

Education & Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in motion graphics, animation, or digital design
• Bachelor’s Degree in a motion graphics/animation-related field plus 1 year’s experience creating motion graphics and rendering video

Additional Requirements:

• Candidate should be able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Extensive sitting, standing, and walking may be required
• Domestic travel may be required, including multi-night stays
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Willingness to complete background checks and drug tests required by current or future contracts
