Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Data Engineer - Data Science to join their team. The Data Engineering team is responsible for building reliable and trusted data sources and products to support data-driven decision making across the company. This team plays a vital role in transforming how data is discovered and consumed for future analytics innovation.

• Designing and implementing robust data pipelines

Job Requirements:

• Data Modeling: Understanding of best practices for data modeling.
• ETL/ELT Processes: Experience in designing, building, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Apache Airflow: Experience in building, deploying, and optimizing DAGs in Airflow.
• Python and SQL: Proficient in scripting in Python and advanced SQL techniques.
• GitHub: Experience with version control and collaboration on GitHub.
• Data Visualization: Knowledge of tools like Superset, Looker, or Python visualization libraries.
• Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work closely with data scientists and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Nice to haves:

• Proficiency in constructing and managing data pipelines specific to marketing platforms.
• Experience in marketing data pipeline and third-party tools integration.
• Familiarity with email management platforms and tools.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of fundamental DevOps practices.
• Data governance experience preferred but not required.
• Some knowledge of ML, AI, or NLP.
