Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Services team at Bristol City Council, dedicated to building digital services that cater to citizens, businesses, and communities. You will join the User-Centred Design team to create user-friendly digital experiences aligned with user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Edit and publish engaging, accessible content for the website and intranet
• Create online forms
• Manage content updates, redirectors, and broken links
• Handle citizen feedback professionally, investigate issues, and collaborate with relevant teams
• Support senior designers on content projects and stakeholder interactions

Requirements

Key skills required for this role:

• Experience in content design, UX, web editing, or related fields
• Knowledge of user-centric content creation and managing content using style guides
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) approach and accessibility standards
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
