Job Description
As a Video Editor at CYVMedia, you will be responsible for editing video footage using editing software, color correction, visual effects, creating titles and graphics, selecting music and sound effects, and exporting the final product. The role involves working collaboratively with a team while also being able to work independently to meet deadlines and ensure content quality.
Requirements
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere
- Demonstrated experience in color correction, audio mixing, visual effects, and creating titles and graphics
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and frame rates
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Knowledge of basic cinematography and lighting concepts
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment efficiently and timely
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Portfolios showcasing prior work and edited videos are required
Other Information
This is a part-time hybrid role based in San Marcos, CA, with flexibility for some remote work. CYVMedia offers services including Monthly Social Media Content, Single Video Productions, Photography, and Social Media Management.
