Job Description

At Tiro Partners, we are seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer experienced in Spring Boot and Kafka to join our client on a 6-9 month freelance contract in Madrid. The role involves the implementation of event-driven solutions on cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of services using Spring Boot and Java.
  • Integrate REST APIs components and Kafka services on public cloud.
  • Collaborate with the software engineering team for integrating existing applications and systems with Kafka.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Java Software Engineer with expertise in Spring Boot and Kafka.
  • Experience working with public cloud, preferably Azure.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Additional Information

This role is based in Madrid and requires presence on-site once a week. The contract duration is 9 months with potential extensions.
