Job Description

NT Concepts is seeking a Full-stack Software Developer to join their innovative team in providing open and adaptable data management, cloud services, and advanced analytics to a DOD customer. The role involves designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting solutions under the direction of a multi-disciplinary team. It requires ensuring products are scalable, robust, maintainable, and interoperable, along with compliance with software standards. The position involves coding solutions that meet security requirements, researching technology solutions, and creating, implementing, and adopting Development Best Practices.

Requirements

  • Experience with GoogleMaps, Openlayers, and Angular
  • BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field and 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Java, Python, and Angular
  • Experience with advanced JavaScript libraries (e.g. React, Node.js) and front-end frameworks
  • Working knowledge with API development and integrating applications onto a new environment
  • Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and processes
  • Experience writing highly secure web applications
  • Understanding of databases like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase
  • Proficient with Git
  • Teamwork skills with a positive and problem-solving attitude
  • Comfortable communicating with clients and non-technical stakeholders

Other Information

This is a 1-month assignment with a possibility for extension. The location is in Vienna, VA, and candidates must be willing to relocate if not local. US citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain Secret level clearance are required.

The physical requirements include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and the occasional need to lift 10-15 pounds. The compensation package involves hourly pay, and the schedule is an 8-hour shift for a contract/temporary job. There is also a hybrid remote work setup available in Vienna, VA 22182.
