Job Description

The Video Editorial Assistant will provide editorial support and collaborate with the creative production and editorial teams, primarily located on site in the San Francisco office. Responsibilities include ingesting, transcoding, logging, and labeling media, syncing audio and video, maintaining Avid project organization, researching and collecting assets for editorial, editing rough assemblies, exporting projects, QC final exports, logging and transcribing, and archiving projects as needed.

Requirements

Required qualifications for the role include a minimum of 3 years of experience in video production and editorial, knowledge of Avid and postproduction software, experience with Resolve, color correction, graphics, and working in an editorial environment. Additionally, candidates should possess strong organizational, communication, time management skills, be eager to grow, adapt to a fast-paced environment, make sound decisions independently, handle multiple demands, be flexible, receptive to change, self-directed, detail-oriented, and a problem solver with a desire to contribute creatively.
