Job Description

The Freelance Packaging Designer will be responsible for creating innovative product designs in alignment with the brand strategy. This includes designing and producing product packaging, collaborating with various teams for consumer testing, and maintaining brand sustainability goals. The designer will work on packaging solutions across different consumer touchpoints, create renders and physical comps, and liaise with packaging teams and external vendors.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant design experience, preferably in fashion or beauty. They should possess a strong aesthetic sense with demonstrated skills in typography and layout, exemplified through a robust portfolio. A degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of packaging structure, printing, materials, and production methods are essential. Strong presentation skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are also required.

Additional Information

The expected base salary range for this freelance position is $50 to $60 per hour and the role will be remote.
