Job Description:

The Georgia Gazette is seeking engaging individuals to join our network of podcast hosts for our YouTube channel. As the face and voice of a podcast, you will create compelling content on crime-related topics in Georgia. This includes reacting to body cam videos, court hearings, and producing episodes covering crimes in the state.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Develop podcast episodes, research topics, and plan content.
• Hosting and Presenting: Serve as the primary host, conduct interviews, and keep the audience engaged.
• Scripting and Editing: Prepare content, collaborate on editing, and enhance audio quality.
• Audience Engagement: Connect with the audience, encourage participation, and respond to feedback.
• Brand Representation: Represent the podcast professionally, collaborate on marketing efforts.

Requirements:

• Strong verbal communication and interviewing skills.
• Passion for the chosen podcast topic.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable on camera and engaging an audience.
• Knowledge of audio and video editing tools is preferred.
