Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to our clients’ specifications. You will strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites using various programming languages and technologies
• Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing website layouts
• Write well-designed, efficient code using best practices
• Test websites across different browsers, operating systems, and devices
• Troubleshoot and debug website issues
• Optimize website performance and ensure high speed and scalability
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in web development

Requirements

• Proficiency in web design languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills

• HTML Coder (Squarespace to HTML)
• Experience with Ansible for automated deployment and configuration management
• Knowledge of GraphQL for efficient API development
• Familiarity with C programming language for system-level development
• Understanding of application development principles and software development lifecycle
• Experience with Tomcat server configuration and administration

Additional Information

• Job Types: Contract, Temporary
• Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,251.00 per year
• Compensation package: 1099 contract, Hourly pay
• Experience level: 2 years
• Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, No nights, No weekends
• Ability to Commute: Industry, CA 90601 (Required)
• Ability to Relocate: Industry, CA 90601: Relocate before starting work (Required)
