Job Description:

This freelance VOD Assistant Editor role at CBS Sports involves creating, editing, and delivering VOD Soccer content for Paramount+, CBS Sports App, YouTube & Golazo Network daily. Responsibilities include monitoring new content, facilitating content retrieval, screening and editing, creating content metadata, and delivering digital assets to various platforms promptly. The position is remote, requiring a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Digital asset creation and distribution daily, including basic editing, clipping, and converting of video and images.
• Processing and delivering assigned videos for various platforms.
• Using AI Automated Highlights for posting game highlights on YouTube & Paramount+.
• Creating metadata and thumbnails for video assets heading to YouTube, Paramount+, and CBS Sports App.
• Converting, uploading, and quality checking assigned assets.
• Any other necessary duties as they arise.

Requirements:

• Preferably have knowledge of soccer or a willingness to learn.
• Experience with software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are desired.
• Ability to prioritize work, be proactive, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
