Job Description

Tree Ring Digital is seeking a talented self-motivated, proactive WordPress Website Designer to design custom WordPress websites and assist in building attractive landing pages for marketing campaigns. Responsibilities include wireframe designs, website building, edits, troubleshooting, quality checks, and providing support for WordPress and website issues.

Job Requirements

• Adherence to project hours, timelines, and effective time tracking.
• Proactive identification of client growth opportunities.
• Ability to design engaging WordPress websites based on provided data and competitor research.
• Experience in designing websites for various organizations.
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end development.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of WordPress builders, plugins, and maintenance.

Requirements for the Role

• 2-3 years of experience in WordPress design and managing multiple websites simultaneously.
• Proficiency in WordPress core, plugins, responsive design, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with FTP, site optimization, cross-browser compatibility, Photoshop, and other related tools.
• Experience with page builder tools, WordPress back-end development, eCommerce systems, and various plugins.
• Basic knowledge of installing and editing WordPress, development site setup, and working with GSuite, Office 365, and other tools.

What We Offer

This contract position offers an hourly wage of $35-50/hour DOE, between 15-30 hours per week, remote work, and client communication through Zoom or phone.
