Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Back-End Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing and developing complex web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of back-end systems for client projects, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex back-end systems using modern technologies like Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Python, and other backend languages/frameworks.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices that integrate with front-end systems.
• Work with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and others.
• Build and maintain automated testing suites and participate in code reviews.
• Lead the development team through software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with front-end development team for seamless integration.
• Continuously research and learn new technologies for improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
• Contribute to open-source projects and developer communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in back-end software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language like Node.js, Ruby, Python, or Java.
• Proven experience leading a development team and designing complex back-end systems.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud-based deployment and hosting environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Contractor experience is a plus.
