Job Description:
Our education non-profit is seeking a talented User Experience Designer to join our team as a part-time contractor. The User Experience Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging websites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and translate them into visually appealing and functional designs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a User Experience Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and process
- Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, UXPin, Visio, etc.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS)
- Knowledge of design patterns and best practices for business websites
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Additional Information:
- Job Types: Part-time, Contract
- Pay: $25.42 - $30.44 per hour
- Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
- Experience level: 1 year
- Location: Washington State (Required)
- Work Location: Remote
