Job Description

This is a full-time and hybrid role for a Freelance Video Editor located in Upland, CA, with flexibility for some remote work. The Freelance Video Editor will be tasked with editing and creating visually compelling and engaging video and audio content, managing various video projects from start to finish, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and meeting client requirements and deadlines.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in video editing and proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, among others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Familiarity with a range of light and sound equipment, as well as knowledge of synching audio and visual elements through an editing software.
• An eye for creativity with the ability to follow or develop a project’s concept and guidelines, professional experience in creating high-quality branded content.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and solve complex problems while under deadline pressure.
• Experience with motion graphics, sound design, and color correcting is a plus.
• A relevant Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience, as well as an online portfolio is ideal.
