Job Description

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engage audiences, and drive traffic to our company’s digital platforms. You will leverage various social media channels to create compelling content, monitor conversations, analyze metrics, and optimize campaigns to achieve our marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Owners and Managers to develop social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals and objectives.
• Content Creation: Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms that resonates with our target audience.
• Community Management: Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions. Engage with the audience promptly.
• Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising campaigns, contests, and promotions.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics using social media analytics tools.
• Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms in social media marketing.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure social media activities are aligned with overall brand messaging and objectives.
• Brand Advocacy: Cultivate relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and industry partners to amplify brand reach and credibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• 2-4 years of proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with graphic design and video editing software such as Canvas, Premier Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Certification in social media marketing or related field.
• Experience managing social media accounts for restaurants, nightclubs, and event-based businesses.
