A Pianist at Von Maur provides a pleasant shopping environment by playing piano music for customers’ enjoyment. Key responsibilities include:

• Playing a selection of music on the piano according to current guidelines.
• Playing customer requests and providing a courteous musical background.
• Preparing new music for repertoire and varying the type of music played.
• Dusting and polishing the piano regularly to keep the playing area neat.

Requirements

• Proficiency in playing the piano with minimal errors, able to play from memory, by ear, or read music.
• Excellent customer service skills, greeting customers cordially and fulfilling their musical preferences.
• Ability to maintain a neat and clean playing area by dusting and polishing the piano regularly.
• Flexibility to add new music to the repertoire and vary the music played throughout shifts.
