Job Description

We are seeking a talented 3D Designer proficient in Blender with experience in exporting models for HTML5/web games. The ideal candidate will collaborate with developers to recreate Blender scenes in Three.js and create high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations for web-based games and playable ads.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations using Blender for web-based games and playable ads.
  • Optimize 3D assets for performance and compatibility across various web browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate Blender scenes into Three.js for interactive web experiences.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for game and ad concepts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in 3D design, game development, and web technologies.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders to achieve desired results.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Blender with a strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling, texturing, and animation skills.
  • Experience exporting 3D models for HTML5/web games and optimizing assets for web performance.
  • Familiarity with playable ads and creating engaging interactive experiences within ad formats is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Three.js or similar JavaScript 3D libraries/frameworks.
  • Understanding of game development principles and workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Passion for gaming and interactive media.

Other Information

This position is very part-time, with opportunities for further work. Preference is given to candidates available during India’s working hours.
