JOB DESCRIPTION

The Shade Store is seeking a talented part-time UX Designer to join our team and play a pivotal role in revamping our homepage to enhance user experience and drive engagement.

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding current site design and capabilities
• Reviewing existing user research and conducting additional research if necessary
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align design with business goals and user needs
• Creating design mockups and prototypes for the homepage
• Iterating on design concepts based on feedback
• Working closely with developers for seamless implementation
• Staying updated on industry trends and best practices

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a UX Designer with successful homepage redesign projects
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX design, focusing on homepage redesign
• Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe, etc.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present design decisions
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality designs
• Preferred experience in home, interior design, or lead generation-focused sites

OTHER INFORMATION

The hourly rate for this part-time position will be $50-$60/hour, commensurate with experience.
