Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled machine learning expert to join our data science team within Gilead PDM (Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing) organization. The candidate will be involved in all processes from data collection, cleansing, pre-processing, creating training models, testing models, evaluating and interpreting models, fine-tuning models, making predictions, and sharing insights.

Responsibilities include understanding business objectives, developing machine learning models, analyzing algorithms, exploring and visualizing data, performing data mining, defining data pre-processing and feature engineering, analyzing large datasets, developing machine learning models, and collaborating with other team members for model deployment and operationalization.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and methodologies

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience building machine learning models

• Solid coding skills in Python

• Strong proficiency with Python, scikit-learn, and a deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or Keras

• Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets

• Collaboration experience with software engineers

Location: Foster City, CA (On-site 3 days/week minimum)

Work Type: Contract

Pay: $58.00 - $63.00 per hour
