Job Description
The Videographer will work as part of a team comprised of marketing and communications professionals in the University Life department at GMU. Responsibilities include capturing high-quality video content at campus events, editing videos, creating motion graphics, assisting with photography needs, and creating a video vault for marketing purposes.
Requirements
- Experience with video/photography editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro
- Direct experience in video production, including filming, editing, scriptwriting, and storyboarding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Demonstrated skills in communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal interactions
- Ability to meet deadlines efficiently, commitment to diversity, and working in a team-oriented environment
- Provide a video portfolio or samples online
- Experience with photo and video editing techniques is a plus

- Location: Fairfax, VA
- Work Schedule: Part-time, 10-20 hours per week
- Salary: $16-$20 per hour; commensurate with experience
