Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Contract: Temporary

Job Description:

This temporary associate designer will be responsible for designing women’s products for the Honolua brand. The role involves creating volume-driving products each season, analyzing trends, designing silhouettes, branding, producing graphics, approving designs, and staying in tune with market needs. Additionally, the designer must assist in merchandising, maintain product details, and work on fit direction.

  • Analyze trends and design innovative and volume-driving products
  • Create design details for assigned categories
  • Produce graphics for printables program
  • Approve design details during development
  • Stay informed about Honolua market needs
  • Assist in merchandising
  • Collaborate in a team environment and meet deadlines
  • Create and maintain the VLP

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in apparel and graphic design
  • Detailed knowledge of garment construction and textiles
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and motivated team player
  • Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Design or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to work both at the HQ in Costa Mesa, CA, and remotely
