Job Description

DCID, a small design group, is seeking interior designers at junior level or above. The ideal candidate should have a broad understanding of high-end residential design, be able to adapt to different project aesthetics and client personalities, and maintain respectful and pleasant communication within the office.

Requirements

Technical skills required include AutoCad, Sketch-Up, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel), and basic Adobe programs such as Photoshop. Experience in creating PDFs is a plus. Kindness, positivity, and the ability to work well under stress are essential qualities for this role.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing all construction documents, creating and modifying plans and renderings, assisting with presentations, creating spec books and schedules for FF&E, sourcing and ordering materials, keeping projects organized, creating elevations and shop drawings, corresponding with vendors and designers, and assisting the lead designer at sites and installs as needed.

Additional Information
