Job Description

The Product Designer role in Seattle, WA involves designing end-to-end responsive web or mobile applications, using data for design decisions, creating UX artifacts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires two days onsite per week in downtown Seattle.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in designing web or mobile applications
• Experience with data-informed design and UX research
• Proficiency in Figma
• Ability to create UX artifacts like wireframes and prototypes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills

• Experience with product review pages or User Generated Content (UGC)
• Prior experience in retail or e-commerce companies like Nike, Nordstrom, REI, etc.

Day to Day

The Product Designer will collaborate with senior designers to design the login page for the client’s main website. Responsibilities include using data for design decisions, prototyping, user testing, and contributing to the design system.

Additional Information

• The contract duration is 6-12 months with possible extensions.
• The role involves partnering with Product Managers, Senior Designers, and other technology teams.
• The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator and storyteller to effectively convey design ideas.
• The role requires participation in Scrum ceremonies and representing the design team.
