Job Description
The Water Agency is looking for a WordPress Developer (freelance/part-time) to handle website development, maintenance, and infrastructure for their Asia Water Hubs located in various countries. The position involves participating in projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle and responsibility for maintaining and managing existing and future internet sites. Strong knowledge and experience in WordPress is required as the agency’s website is WordPress based.
Requirements
- Strong background in WordPress, PHP, Database, and Linux server administration
- Comprehensive knowledge of caching and optimization in a dynamic global WordPress and cloud environment
- Experience with security and privacy measures
- Knowledge and experience with SEO
- Ability to create and handle graphics with Photoshop
- Good communication skills in English
- Desire to learn and positive attitude
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites
