Job Description
We are seeking a software engineer to help with data collection tooling for large-scale data collection efforts for AR/VR headsets. This role involves working with cutting-edge technology involving cameras and natural user interfaces. Responsibilities include designing and implementing tools for data collection and annotation, running evaluations on data quality, providing documentation for external vendors, modifying tools to meet new requirements, synchronizing software with robotic arm movement, fixturing prototype devices for calibration, and validating calibration quality.
Requirements
Required skills include data engineering and distributed/cloud systems, hardware control software development, camera and light fixture calibration, expertise in C++ and Python, as well as creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. Preferred skills include experience with deep learning, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
