Job Description
Position: Medical Illustrator
Department: School of Medicine
Salary: $50/Hour (Casual, No benefits)
Responsibilities:
- Produce creative and complex medical drawings, illustrations, diagrams, and/or models for publications, exhibits, consultations, research, and teaching activities.
- Create three-dimensional medical and anatomical artwork using various techniques.
- Research anatomical and surgical illustrations with a high level of accuracy and realism.
- Modify existing illustration assets while maintaining consistency in the illustration style.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Medical Illustration, Biomedical Visualization, or related field.
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive medical and anatomical knowledge.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
