Job Description
As a Jr. CAD Designer for our client in Novi, MI, you will be responsible for developing parts and tooling for vehicle exhaust system components. This role involves working with manufacturing engineers, troubleshooting technical aspects, designing product drawings, and ensuring compliance with internal standards.
- Work with manufacturing engineers and the production team
- Design product drawings and tooling
- Review product designs for compliance
- Apply GD&T principles
- Support document control process
- Improve CAD processes
Requirements
- Experience in metals manufacturing, machining, welding
- Proficiency with SolidWorks
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- Collaboration skills with various teams
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills
