Job Description:

AUSA News is seeking a Freelance Video Editor to edit video for news programs, live coverage, breaking news, and other productions. The editor will work independently or as part of a team to create visuals and audio that accurately represent the news.

• Create Tagged commercials for cross channel and broadcast.
• Analyze, develop, and recommend solutions for editorial, procedural, and operational needs.
• Collaborate with Lead Editors and Design teams to optimize editorial processes.
• Meet weekly and monthly advertising and non-advertised requirements efficiently within time constraints.
• Create and develop internal and external company communication.
• Work with a team of editors to achieve team goals effectively.
• Perform other assigned duties by the management team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of digital post-production experience, editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• 2+ years of experience in a high-pressure environment meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of digital workflows and file-based delivery.
• Ability to read video scopes and audio levels.
• Demonstrated strong editorial judgment.
• Experience editing content for various digital platforms.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, early mornings, and weekends.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects preferred.
