Job Description
Lead the soprano section in the singing of Gregorian Mass ordinary and propers, congregational hymns, and choral works. Occasionally sing in small ensembles and lead sectional rehearsals as needed. Time commitments include Sundays, Wednesday evenings, and extended availability during Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter seasons.
Requirements
Strong sight-reading skills. Experience with Novus Ordo Roman Catholic liturgy and accompanying chant is helpful but not required.
Compensation
Section leaders are paid on a “per event” basis with rates ranging from $60 to $160 per event depending on time commitments.
