Job Description:

The Digital Content Producer will be responsible for generating news content for WSB Radio Atlanta. This individual will work under the direction and parameters of the Digital Content Lead and WSB Program Director in harmony with the Digital Content Team at Cox Media Group. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of news as it relates to digital and be able to exhibit sound judgement while working in a high-pressure environment with impeccable attention to detail and accuracy. A flexible schedule is a MUST with the ability to work evenings / nights / weekends / holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write and adapt broadcast content for the website
• Create engaging content on social media and other web platforms
• Participate in creative development and technical implementation of online content
• Collaborate with Digital Team and News Department to meet performance goals
• Work all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Sound news judgment
• Excellent creative writing and communication skills
• Ability to recognize and develop compelling content
• Time management skills and ability to work under shifting deadlines
• Passion for excellence and attention to detail
• Collaborative and social media savvy

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years related experience
• Degree in Journalism, Social Media, Digital Communication, or related field preferred
• News/business social media savvy and focused
