Job Description

Are you passionate about startups and Indie video games? Otisco is an Indie video game startup utilizing Unreal Engine 5, located in Orlando, Florida. We are looking for individuals to join our studio and contribute to the design and development of innovative 3D games.

We are currently seeking individuals for various roles in the Central Florida and Orlando area, including Lighting Artist, Material/Texture Artist, Unreal Engine Technical Artist/Designer, 3D World/Game Level Designer/Builder, 3D Character Artist Modeler/Sculpture/Texture, 3D Character Animator/Rigging, VFX Artist Specialist, Unreal Engine Blueprint Visual Scripting Programmer/Generalist, UX/UI Designer/Artist, C++ Software Engineer, Sound FX Engineer, 3D Environmental Asset Artist, Video Game Time Management/Project Supervisor, Lead Game Programmer (Unreal Engine), and Video Game Concept Artist.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of game mechanics and gameplay systems.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong creativity, attention to detail, and passion for quality.
  • Experience with game development pipelines such as 3D asset creation programs (Blender, Maya, ZBrush, or 3DS Max) or game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity, or Godot), or proficient knowledge of C++ programming language.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project needs.
  • Open-minded and collaborative thinker.

Full Disclosure

Position operates on a Performance-Based Pay model utilizing a “Profit Sharing” Salary Deferral Agreement. Salary is negotiable and paid upon the game’s release, with payment deadline set one year from first day of pre-production.
