Job Description:

Our woman-owned PR firm is seeking a part-time candidate to fulfill various responsibilities for both the firm and our clients. The ideal applicant should be ready to start training immediately via Zoom or in person if fully vaccinated, located near Silver Spring, Maryland.

Responsibilities may include: proofreading and editing content, drafting social media content, scheduling posts, conducting research, managing internal press lists, compiling reports, and more.

Requirements:

Applicants must have 3 years of social media experience, be proficient in AP Style proofreading, Microsoft Office tools, and have experience with Adobe InDesign, Canva, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and WordPress. Candidates will need to pass social media and AP Style proofreading tests.

Other Information:

The position is part-time (15-20 hours/week) with remote work options. The salary ranges from $20-$30 per hour for this 1099 position. Candidates must be able to demonstrate B2B or B2G experience. Applicants need to submit a resume, cover letter, samples of work, and salary history.
