Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate Game Developer to join our team and contribute to building and expanding our games on Roblox. Working alongside our Lead Game Designer and a team of developers and artists, you will be responsible for creating and implementing new game content and features to enhance player experience. As a key member of our games team, you will have diverse tasks, from developing new features to testing and bug fixes, in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Working experience with Roblox Studio using Lua or similar programming languages
• Professional experience in game development
• Previous involvement in shipping games, apps, or digital products
• Knowledge of modern development practices like continuous integration, version control, and testing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Organizational skills to meet deadlines efficiently
• Self-motivated and driven to take initiative
• Legally able to work in Australia

Nice to Have:

• Genuine passion for games with hands-on experience across various genres, especially free-to-play games
• Project management skills including scheduling, tracking, and reporting
• Design skills in 3D or graphic design, or a good eye for design
• Interest in music, as we have a strong music-centric culture at Splash
