Job Description
The Digital Designer will work closely with the Home Brand Design team to create cohesive digital brand design experiences for various brands under Dotdash Meredith. Responsibilities include designing visual elements, collaborating with stakeholders, creating digital production art, and producing custom artwork for different brand channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- 1-3 years of experience as a designer
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong typography and editorial design skills
- Illustration skills, including drawing in multiple styles
- Motion design/animation skills are a plus
- Publishing industry experience is a plus
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Figma is a plus but not essential
Assignment Details
- 35 hours per week
- Start date: ASAP after June 5th
- End date: Approximately January 3rd, 2025
- Hourly Rate: $45/hr
- Location: New York DDM Office, Des Moines DDM Office, Seattle DDM Office
